Meet the minds behind the connections

Behind every neural breakthrough is a team working from one position: you are not a diagnosis, you are a person.

Why we work this way

We spent years helping build somebody else's biofeedback company.

That work taught us what actually holds up after a client goes home, and what does not. It also showed us how much of this field is organised around equipment rather than around people, and how many capable practitioners are left to work it out alone.

So the practice does two things at once. We see clients directly, from infants through seniors. And we teach what we know to the practitioners coming up behind us, because the alternative is watching the same hard lessons get relearned one isolated office at a time.

Office Assistant

If a document needs filing or an intake package needs perfecting, Lizzie has already handled it. Her talent for observation and organisation is the glue that keeps operations running.

IT and Network Integrity

The digital backbone of the Institute. Joe keeps the networks, security and internal systems solid so the team can focus on the science rather than the software.

Care that travels

Not everyone can get to an office, and for some of the people we work with that is the whole obstacle. The Institute runs a mobile clinic so assessment and training can happen where the client already is.

Questions people ask

Who runs the Institute?

Dr. Lise D. DeLong is Founder and Director and leads the clinical work. Marc DeLong is Manager of Operations and runs clinic logistics along with the global rental and affiliate programmes. They have been working together for over thirty years.

Do you travel to clients?

Yes. The Institute runs a mobile clinic so assessment and training can happen outside the office when travel is the barrier to care.

Is the Institute part of a larger company?

No. It is independent and family run. The founders spent years inside the biofeedback field before establishing this practice under their own name.
